Police (1) advanced to the National Lotteries Authority National First Division Cricket Championships Quarter-finals last weekend, after they defeated Triumph United by five wickets at the Stubbs Playing Field.
Triumph United were dismissed for 174, Romel Jackson 55 not out Ahmed Baptiste 35. Gerald Gould took three for 26, Parnel Browne captured three for 31.
Police (1) responded with 175 for 5, Antonio Sutherland 37, Kishorn Lewis 34, Kenroy Williams 29 were the main Police (1) scorers. Rohan Ash took claimed for 53.
Other teams through to the Quarter-finals thus far are, Smashers, French Verandah Community College, Victors Two and Rudy’s Electrical Unique Warriors.
