The 2016 Atlantic Hurricane Season officially begins today June 1st, with experts predicting a near-normal hurricane season.
Prime Minister Dr. Ralph Gonsalves, reflected on the December 24th 2013 natural disaster here as an example for the importance of early preparation to lessen the effects of storms on our property and lives.
Dr. Gonsalves said while the Colorado State University is predicting 12 named storms this season, he is hopeful that there will be minimal landfall.
