The cast of the Graduates Calypso Tent will be the first locally-based Tent to take to the stage tonight at the Russell’s Auditorium, as the judging in the 2016 preliminary round of the National Calypso Competition gets underway.
Tomorrow night will be the turn of the cast of the Upstage Xperience, who would also be performing at the Russell’s Auditorium, and on Thursday, the cast of the On Tour Calypso Tent will be judged, also at the Russell’s Auditorium.
The preliminary judging will wrap up this Friday, with the cast of the Ptani Calypso Tent performing at Chappie’s Riverside at Marriaqua.
All Shows are scheduled to begin at 8:00pm, and will be broadcast live on NBC Radio.
Preliminary judging of the cast of the Dynamites Calypso Tent was held in New York on the weekend.
