Shafiqua Maloney has been selected to represent Team Athletics St. Vincent and the Grenadines (TASVG) at the IAAF World Under-20 Athletics Championships to be held in Poland from 19th to 24th July.
Shafiqua will be competing in the 400-metres. She was selected after running a time of 54.88 seconds in St. Kitts where she presently resides and attends School. The standard set by the IAAF for the 400-metres was 55.25 seconds.
Shafiqua will be accompanied by Jenice Daley who will be the Coach and Chaperone.
They are expected to depart St. Kitts on the 16th July for Poland.
