Melanie Stowe of Bequia United and IT DAT Academy won additional medals at last weekend’s Grenada National Athletics Championships at the Grenada National Stadium in St Georges.
Stowe won a bronze medal in the Under-18 Girls 200 metres, and IT DAT Academy, who fielded two teams in the Men’s 4 x 400 metres relay, won the gold and bronze in the event.
Those results brought to 17, the number of medals won by the 4 clubs from St Vincent and the Grenadines who took part in the Grenada Athletics Championships including 12 gold, 5 silver and 5 bronze.
56 Vincentian athletes competed in the Championships.
