President of the Youlou Pan Movement, Oneka Morgan said in the Panorama competition this evening five steel orchestras will compete for top honours.
Miss Morgan said tonight’s competition is expected to be a very tight one with all of the Steel Orchestras putting on an exceptional show during their rehearsals.
She said the show begins at 8 this evening.
Meanwhile Secretary of the Carnival Bands Associations (CBA), Alvern Ali Cadogan said ten Mas Bands will also battle in the Sections of the Bands Competition, during this evening’s Steel and Glitter show.
She said the event has an all-star cast of local entertainers slated to perform and she is encouraging everyone down to the Victoria Park this evening for Steel and Glitter.
