Leaders Of The OECS Come Together Via Videoconferencing

This Country’s Prime Minister Dr. Ralph Gonsalves will be among leaders of the OECS member states, who will come together today via a video conference, to focus on inescapable matters that require decisions.

The agenda for the discussions were not disclosed, however it is likely that the leaders will discuss some of the decisions reached at the Caribbean Community (CARICOM) summit in Guyana last week.

OECS Director General Dr. Didacus Jules said in a release, that this will be the first time the leaders will be meeting by video conference and given the fact that there are a couple of new Heads of State.

Mr. Jules added that the regular meeting in November will be a face-to-face meeting where all the ceremonial procedures for the welcoming of new Heads of Government will take place.
