Individuals representing the various components of Carnival have expressed their satisfaction with the outcome of the just-concluded Vincy Mas.
On NBC’s Views on Issues Program on 10th July 2016, the individuals noted that there was a vast improvement to all components of Vincy Mas this year.
Chairperson of the Beauty Shows Committee, Cheryl Rodriguez said the Miss SVG and Miss Carival Pageants were two of the Best Produced shows this year.
Meanwhile, Secretary of the Carnival Bands Association – Alvern Cadougan credited the Mas Bands for lifting their standards this year.
President of the Calypso Association, Earl Bennette said an improvement in the calypsos this year was also evident.
Band Leader for Starlift Steel Orchestra Roddy Dowers said he was impressed with the standard of both the junior and Senior Pan Sides this year.
The Panelists also made recommendations which should be taken into consideration to make Vincy Mas more successful.
