The unveiling of Our Lady of Guadalupe Home, which was expected to be held this morning, has been postponed to a later date.
Telecommunications Company, Digicel SVG Limited who contributed to the renovation of the project, at a cost of some 85-thousand dollars, told NBC News that today’s unveiling was not made possible, because of the incompletion of the building.
Our Lady of Guadalupe Home, located at Cane End in the Marriaqua constituency, is a lone non-profit institution on mainland St. Vincent and focuses primarily on transforming the lives of suffering and abused young girls, by providing them with a safe housing and nurturing environment.
