Plantation House Pirates beat Rock Masters by 69 runs yesterday in the Mustique Twenty/20 Cricket Championship at the Mustique Playing Field.

The scores: Plantation House Pirates 136 for 9 off 20-overs; Felix Greaves 49, St. Clair Bascombe 31; Rohan Foy 3 for 15, Oswald Campbell 3 for 30, Sheffield Ballantyne 2 for 31.

Rock Masters 77 off 14.3-overs; Kelroy Richards 19; St. Clair Bascombe 3 for 13, Lennox Mason 2 for 5, Felix Greaves 2 for 18.



In the meantime…the Windward Islands Under-19 defeated a Mustique select X1 by 84 runs on Saturday in a Friendly 30-overs a-side match as they prepares for the (WICB) Regional Under-19 Tournament scheduled for here in St. Vincent and the Grenadines this week.

Final scores: Windward Islands Under-19 207 off 29-5-overs; Johann Jeremiah 56, Emmanuel Stewart 51, Anil Matthew 34; O’Neil Thomas 7 for 28.

Mustique X1 123 off 24.5-overs; O’Neil Thomas 25, Akram Edwards 16, Omar Tucker 13; Johnathon Taylor 3 for 24, Othneil Lewis 3 for 26, Rasheed Fredericks 3 for 26 as well.
