Ten students received scholarships and over one hundred others received bursaries compliments the General Employees Cooperative Credit Union (GECCU).
GECCU this morning hosted its fourteenth annual awards ceremony for successful students at CPEA, under the theme “Success through Perseverance”.
In her remarks, Chairperson of the Scholarship Committee Mineva Glasgow urged students to persevere and strive for excellence in all areas of their lives.
While, President of GECCU Kelvin Pompey reminded the students that a scholarship does not mean it’s a free education but it’s an investment by the company for a better future.
