S.V United made light work of Sparta F.C with a 5-1 victory in yesterday afternoon’s match of the Under-17 Division of the North East Football League at the Colonarie Playing Field.
Dwayne Cupid and Rodman Duncan scored two goals each for S.V United. Jayz Ryan scored the other. Rayan Bute converted for Sparta F.C.
Yesterday’s other scheduled match in the Under-13 Division was cancelled. It should have been between Sparta F.C and Greggs.
The Managers, Captains and at least two players of each team in the league will meet with the Executive tomorrow afternoon at half past five at the Georgetown Secondary School to review the Youth Tournament; discuss the way forward for the North East Football League; plan the Elite Tournament; and to finalise preparations for the National Football League Championship.
