St. Vincent and the Grenadines and other OECS countries are expected to benefit from 6.2 million US dollars from the Global Fund, provided by the United Nations, to combat the spread of HIV and AIDs along with other Sexually Transmitted Diseases.
The Ministry of Health revealed this during the commencement of a two day meeting, to discuss the new funding model grant agreement, which is designed to implement HIV, STI and TB interventions within the OECS.
The meeting is taking place today and tomorrow at the Telecommunications Conference Room in the CLICO Building in Kingstown.
