The Department of Culture is soliciting information for inclusion into its independence calendar.
Chief Cultural Officer, Anthony Theobalds said the Independence Secretariat is inviting persons who are planning activities for October 2016 to submit these with dates to the Department of Culture as soon as possible, as they seek to spread activities throughout the month and avoid clashes.
St. Vincent and the Grenadines will mark its 37th year of political independence on October 27.
