The final preliminary round in the 2016 Kingstown Co-operative Credit Union (KCCU) National Dance Festival, will take place this weekend at the Peace Memorial Hall.
This year’s Festival is being held under the theme “Let’s Dance”, and Maxine Browne, Dance Development Officer in the Ministry of Culture said this weekend will feature the Social Dance and Popular Dance Juniors categories.
Ms. Browne said a number of gold medals were awarded during last weekend’s showcase and she expects a great staging as it is the final preliminary show. The presentations will begin at seven tomorrow night.
