4th Annual Literary Fair

The Vincentian Association of Artists, Writers and Producers presented two Lifetime Achievement Awards during the official opening of the 4th Annual Literary Fair at the UWI Open Campus.

This year’s Fair is being held under the theme: Vincy Read and Write.

Rene Baptiste, President of the Association said there would be a presentation of a number of other awards at an evening of Pan, Poetry and the Arts from 7:30 tonight at the Open Campus.

Rodney Small, Andy Cruickshank, Saeed Bowman, Geron Maule, the Arabesque Dance Company, La Gracia Dancers, Naked Roots Cultural Organisation Master Poets among others will perform at tonight’s event.

The Literary Fair is being held to provide an opportunity for the Open Campus and the Vincentian Association of Artists Writers and Producers Inc. to bring attention to the Arts and Arts Education and their importance to national development.
