The Diocese of the Windward Islands has expressed sadness at the passing of The Reverend Canon Arthur Hoskins Huggins, CMG who died on Friday 28th October.
Canon Huggins was ordained to the sacred Priesthood on the 26th July, 1958 and served in several parishes and capacities in St. Vincent and the Grenadines and Grenada.
He also served on the Diocesan Board of Finance, the Incorporated Trustees, the Diocesan Council and other Board of Management.
Canon Huggins will be remembered for his deep and abiding faith in God, as well as his dedication to pastoral ministry.
Canon Huggins is survived by his wife Ann, children Vannesa, Jason and Nicholas and only surviving sibling Alfred “Sutty” Huggins.
There will be a Vigil and viewing at 10:30am on Tuesday 8th November, 2016 at the St. Paul’s Parish Church. The Funeral is scheduled for 2:00pm on Wednesday 9th November, 2016 at the St. Paul’s Parish Church, Calliaqua.
