Tomorrow, the Ministry of Tourism, Sports and Culture will host their Tourism and Hospitality Career Expo where students across St. Vincent and the Grenadines will be given an opportunity to discover their possibilities for job opportunities.

The Tourism and Hospitality Career Expo is expected to take place at the Methodist Church Hall in Kingstown, and will be held under the theme, Endless opportunities, discover your possibilities’.

The Four Elements of the Tourism Product – Accommodation, Attractions, Accessibility and Amenities would be highlighted during a Career Fair, which will be hosted by the Ministry of Tourism, as part of celebrations to commemorate Tourism Month.

Julene Charles-Scott, Education Officer within the Ministry of Tourism, said that students will be given the chance to garner information from experts within the field of Tourism.

She said apart from students becoming engaged in Career Chats with industry experts, CV Writing, Photo Booth, Weeding Show, Prizes and giveaways and interview preparation, there will be some other added attractions at the Fair.

According to Mrs. Charles-Scott it is the hope of the Ministry that students will be inspired and encouraged to choose a career in the area of Hospitality and Industry, because it provides many prospects. The expo which promises to be an extraordinary one, will also be opened to the general public.
