The Roads, Buildings and General Services Authority (BRAGSA) said it is continuing its cleanup program throughout the country today, following yesterday’s inclement weather.

Roxanne Millington, Communications Officer at the Roads, Buildings and General Services Authority BRAGSA noted that yesterday most of the landslides on the Windward side of the country were cleared and this work is continuing today.

Mrs. Millington outlined the areas where BRAGSA will be working during today and she also outlined the work which they have done on the leeward end of the country.

Meanwhile, the Central Water and Sewerage Authority (CWSA) is continuing work today to have all of its water systems fully restored following yesterday’s severe weather.

Garth Saunders, General Manager at the CWSA said the Majorca and Dallaway systems sustained some damage during the Trough system and although some work has been done, there are still some areas with broken lines.

Mr. Saunders said that areas around Kingstown will continue to experience shortages today but they expect to have the system fully restored during the course of today.

He also noted that their water truck will be going into areas which do not have water during today as they continue to work to have the system fully restored and he appealed to members of the public to contact the CWSA if there are any broken lines.
