The Central Water and Sewerage Authority (CWSA) has reaffirmed its commitment to the delivery of clean pipe-borne water to consumers throughout St. Vincent and the Grenadines.
Joan Ryan, Public Relations and Marketing Manager at the CWSA, gave this affirmation this morning as she discussed the challenges faced by the CWSA during the recent periods of heavy rainfall.
Miss Ryan said the CWSA makes every effort to maintain or restore water supply to the public, particularly during times of disaster. She said the topography of the multi-island state poses significant challenges to the CWSA and its water distribution network.
Miss Ryan noted that the CWSA will continue to work hard to enhance that their customers receive water.
