A Fish Fest will be held in the Fishing Community of Barrouallie tonight.
The Fisheries Development Cooperative Society is partnering with the Barrouallie Community Committee to host the event at the Central Square in Barrouallie.
Vibert Pierre, President of the Barrouallie Fisheries Development Cooperative Society said one of the aims of hosting the event is to promote the consumption of sea food.
Mr. Pierre said persons will have an opportunity to savor a variety of fish dishes at the Fish Fest which is slated to begin at six this evening.
He ensured that plans are being made to make the Fish Fest a regular monthly feature.
