St. George/South Windward Combined defeated Kingstown/ North Leeward Combined by 7 wickets in the only match played yesterday in the National Zonal Under-15 40-overs Cricket Championship at the Sion Hill Playing Field.
Kingstown/ North Leeward Combined were dismissed for 82 off 27.1-overs; Kedon Hackshaw led the bowling taking 5 wickets for four runs from three overs, Devon Fisher 2 for 22, and Solomon Bascombe 2 for 26.
St. George/South Windward Combined raced to their victory target 88 for 3 off 12.4-overs; Kedon Hackshaw putting a good match, made 31 not out, Markwest 29 not out. Treveon Matthews took 2 for 18.
Another two matches are on the cards to be played today, Central Windward will tackle North Windward at the Park Hill Playing Field, and North Leeward will oppose St. George/ Kingstown Combined at the Sion Hill Playing Field.
Matches are scheduled to start at 10.00 am.
