The Ministry of Culture says preparations are continuing for the hosting of the 2017 Independence Anniversary month of activities, which will be held in October.
Chief Cultural Officer, Anthony Theobalds said the Independence Secretariat is inviting persons who are planning activities for October 2017 to submit their dates to the Department of Culture as soon as possible.
He said this is important, as they seek to spread activities throughout the month and avoid clashes.
Mr. Thoebalds said the Department has observed that most organisations and agencies prefer to hold their activities close to Independence Day, October 27th.
