The Police arrested and charged three (3) men on Tuesday (January 3rd) for having in their possession firearm and controlled drugs.
Thirty-seven year old Alwaky Stapleton, a Technician of Rose Hall, Caldrick Chambers, 26 year old Self-employed also of Rose Hall and Sydney Fortune, 26 year old Farmer of Grenada, were apprehended by Police about 11:00am at Rose Bank.
The men were discovered with one .380 revolver bearing an unknown serial number and one round of .380 ammunition without a license issued under the firearms act.
The men were also found in possession of 16,344 grammes of Cannabis with intent to supply.
The trio are expected to appear before the Serious Offences Court to answer to these charges today.
