The St. Vincent and the Grenadines Calypsonians Association said it is working with the different Calypso tents around the country and in New York to ensure that Calypso is not confined to just the Carnival season.
This statement was made by President of the St. Vincent and the Grenadines Calypsonians Association, Earl ‘Caba’ Bennett during a press briefing which was held yesterday to update the nation regarding the work which is being done by Calypso tents.
Mr. Bennett said with the re-emergence of the Queen Of Calypso Competition their aim is to Empower the female Calypsonians as they seek to spread Calypso across the entire country throughout the year.
