The SVG Tourism Authority is optimistic about the growth potential of the local Sailing and Yachting sectors.
Chief Executive Officer of the Authority, Glen Beache expressed his optimism, as he spoke of developments in these sectors during a news conference hosted by the Ministry of Tourism on Monday.
Mr. Beache announced that St. Vincent and the Grenadines would be hosting the Atlantic Rally for Cruisers (ARC), a famous annual transatlantic event that is the largest Trans Ocean race of its kind in the world.
Mr. Beache said the Ministry of Tourism will continue its efforts to capitalize on this niche tourism market.
