The Electronic Document and Records Management System (EDRMS) will mount a National Exhibition here today.
The Intelligent Bus Management and Monitoring System Project Exhibition which will be held at the NIS Conference Facility from ten this morning.
The aim of the EDRMS is to exchange memos digitally between government agencies using the Public Key Infrastructure (PKI) Technology.
Authorizing and approving memos and letters online can facilitate the easy retrieval of documents hence the government will benefit from increased government efficiency, reduced costs, and minimized paper consumption.
The Exhibition will showcase equipment to be installed in St. Vincent and the Grenadines for the new project that is to commence next year with installation of CCTV cameras and digital bus stops.
