Police have launched an investigation into a shooting incident in Diamond, which has left one man dead.
NBC News understands that 37-year-old Shaldon Bynoe, of Victoria Village, was reportedly shot last night and died on the spot.
This shooting incident comes on the heels of the seizure of a quantity of guns and ammunition during a joint Police operation in the Diamond community.
At a Media Conference yesterday, Deputy Commissioner of Police Frankie Joseph said Police on Wednesday uncovered, one .357 magnum revolver, two 12 gauge shotguns, 1 MK1 rifle, one Glock pistol, a white mask, eight rounds of .9 Glock ammunitions, fifty-six rounds of 5.6 ammunitions, six shot gun rounds,three packages of fake money and two extended magazines.
Mr. Joseph said five men are assisting the police with their investigations.
