The Department of Culture will be coordinating several activities this weekend, to celebrate Emancipation Day under the theme “Embracing Our Past, Shaping Our Future”.
Officer in Administrative Control at the Department of Culture Maxine Browne says they will collaborate with several Organizations to host the activities.
She tells NBC News, the first activity will be held this Friday in Kingstown.
