The mass evacuation of residents from the north of mainland St. Vincent is continuing, as an explosive eruption began at La Soufriere volcano this morning.
Prime Minister Dr. Ralph Gonsalves provided an update on the eruption at a Press Conference this morning. He says as the evacuation exercise continues, he would like to see proper accommodation provided for elderly persons here.
