Jamaica Tallawahs beat Barbados Royals by 6 wickets with 14 balls remaining in the Caribbean Premier League (CPL) at Warner Park, St Kitts and Nevis yesterday morning.

Barbados Royals won the toss, batted first and made 151-8 off 20 overs. Their scoring was led by Azam Khan’s 50 off 30 balls with 5 fours and 3 sixes. Glenn Phillips made 31 off 29 balls with 3 fours and 1 six. Fast bowler, Migael Pretorius with 4-45 was the most successful bowler for Jamaica Tallawahs. Fast bowler, Fidel Edwards took 2-32.

Opening batsman, Kennar Lewis scored 89 off 53 balls with 9 fours and 5 sixes to lead Jamaica Tallawahs to victory at 155-4 off 17.4 overs. His main support came from Shamarh Brook with 47 not out of 26 balls with 4 fours and 2 sixes. Left arm. leg-spinner, Joshua Bishop was the most successful bowler for Barbados Royals. He took 3-20.
