St Kitts and Nevis Patriots defeated Jamaica Tallawahs

St Kitts and Nevis Patriots defeated Jamaica Tallawahs by 6 wickets with 14 balls remaining in yesterday evening’s match.

After winning the toss and fielding first, Jamaica Tallawahs scored 166-8 off their 20 overs. Carlos Brathwaite was top-scorer with 27. Chadwick Walton made 26 and captain, Rovman Powell contributed 24. Medium pacer, Dwayne Bravo took 3-25, and there were two wickets each for medium paccer, Paul van Meekeren (2-27) and left-arm, medium pacer, Dominic Drakes (2-40).

St Kitts and Nevis Patriots replied with 169-4 off 17.4 overs. They were led by Sherfane Rutherford’s unbeaten 50 off 26 balls with 2 fours and 4 sixes. He had support from opening batsman, Evin Lewis (39 off 27 balls with 2 fours and 4 sixes), and Fabian Allen (30 off 12 balls with 2 fours and 3 sixes).

Today’s matches. St Lucia Kings will play against Guyana Amazon Warriors at 10.00 a. m, and at 7.00 p. m, St Kitts and Nevis Patriots will oppose Barbados Royals. Both matches will be played at Warner Park, Basseterre, St Kitts and Nevis.
