There is no Human Trafficking or Exploitation of Cuban Professionals taking place in St. Vincent and the Grenadines.
This statement was made Prime Minister Dr. Ralph during the Face to Face program aired on NBC Radio yesterday.
The Prime Minister said the Government has been in contact with the authorities in the United States and the relevant data is being gathered to be provided to the officials at the U.S State Department.
Prime Minister Dr. Ralph Gonsalves said St. Vincent and the Grenadines has a modern regime of Laws governing work and payment and the country is also subscribed to international conventions which address these issues.
He said the Government takes these issues seriously and he is confident that this is also the case in other Caribbean countries.
