The African Liberation day event held on Sunday at Sion Hill has been hailed a success by the organizers.
Member of the African Liberation Day organizing committee Idesha Jackson told NBC News, just being able to celebrate the day was a success in itself.
She said patrons were thoroughly entertained.
Jackson said while this year’s turnout was bigger than last year’s, the committee is still hoping for more public engagement.
