Minister of Tourism and Culture Carlos James recently announced that the government will soon launch an Emancipation Cricket Festival.
Minister James said this event is expected to be one of the biggest cricket festivals in the Caribbean.
The Minister said the event will kick off in the week leading up to Emancipation Day.
