A new Public Assistance Board is already in place here, after being formally constituted earlier this year.
This was confirmed by Minister responsible for Social Welfare Hon Shevern John, as she responded to a question in Parliament last Thursday.
Minister John stated that the Public Assistance Board was constituted by Cabinet on March 4, 2026.
