Vincentian Franz George has been selected as an Ambassador for One Young World, a youth organization that works along with Governments and other organizations to include the voice of the youth in global affairs.
Mr. George has been engaged in a number of Youth Leadership programs in St. Vincent and the Grenadines and other Caribbean countries and says he is passionate about youth participation in global affairs.
With his selection as a One Young World Peace Ambassador, he will be attending a Summit in Colombia from October 4th to 7th where they will be discussing a number of important issues with prominent world leaders.
Mr. George says his aim is to use all the knowledge he will accumulate as a One Young World Peace Ambassador to assist with the further development of St. Vincent and the Grenadines.
He is also encouraging his fellow Vincentians to reach out and grab the many opportunities which the world has to offer.
