Sixteen local Educators are now recognized as CARICOM-trained External Evaluators .

Sixteen local Educators are now recognized as CARICOM-trained External Evaluators and Five academic institutions newly registered to operate here.

They were named at a Recognition and Registration Ceremony held yesterday by the Ministry of Education in collaboration with the National Accreditation Board.

Speaking at the ceremony Senior Education Officer Responsible for Accreditation the national accreditation board Decima Hamilton says the Board has had to respond to many challenges over the years.

The local Educators are Dr. Rosalind Ambrose, Lenrick Browne, Paul Creese, Camille Crichton, Albert Daniel, Cherry-Anne Delpleche, John George, Dr. Audrey Gittens Gilkes, Descima Hamilton, Bertillon Hamilton, Elaine Ollivierre, Susanna Providence, Kenroy Questelles, Judy Tash, Frances Williams and Martin Williams.

The institutions that received registration status yesterday are: The St. Vincent and the Grenadines Community College, the National Centre of Technological Innovation (NCTI), the Trinity School of Medicine, the All Saints University and the St. James School of Medicine.
