The Lowman’s Bay Fuel Storage and Distribution Facility is on schedule to be officially inaugurated early next year.

Word of this came from Executive Secretary of ALBA, Ronaldo Alvares during a visit to the project yesterday.

Mr. Alvares was part of a delegation comprising representatives of  ALBA and Petro Caribe, officials of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the St. Vincent Electricity Services Limited.

The team was taken on a tour of projects, which included the Lowman’s Bay Fuel Storage and Distribution Facility, the Buccama Resort and the Mt Wynne Beach and Estate.

Mr. Alvares said his team’s visit included meetings with Prime Minister Dr. Ralph Gonsalves.

Mr. Alvares said the Lowman’s Bay Fuel Storage and Distribution Facility is expected to be inaugurated early in 2014.
