The National Telecommunication Regulatory Commission will host an open day at the Layou Learning Resource Center tommorow

The National Telecommunication Regulatory Commission (NTRC) will host an open day at the Layou Learning Resource Center tommorow

This activity is being held to sensitize the public on the free wireless internet access which is now available at the location as well as 27 other locations, including 12 Learning Resource Centers.

Officials from the Adult and Continuation Education Department and the NTRC will be on hand to provide demonstrations in Computer Appreciation, Microsoft Word and Excel and other basic operations.

The NTRC will provide information on Cyber Security which involves technologies and processes designed to protect computers, networks and data from unauthorized access, vulnerabilities and attacks delivered through the Internet by cyber criminals.

The activity will take place on Tuesday December 10^th, 2013 from 9:00am to 3:00 pm at the Layou learning resource Center.
