The International Airport project at Argyle today received a major boost with the donation of 150 thousand EC dollars from the Returning Nationals of St. Vincent and the Grenadines.

The presentation was made to the International Airport Development Company (IADC) at a ceremony hosted by the Governor General at his official residence this morning.

Chairperson of the Returning Nationals of SVG, Nyoka Clouden, said the funds, which were raised through the raffle of a Kia SUV, is their way of giving back to their country.

And, CEO of the IADC, Dr, Rudy Mathias, said the donation will go a long way in advancing the airport project.

He said the funds will be used primarily for the financing of a Heritage Village at the airport site.
