Residents in the Pointe community are celebrating today, after taking the title in the 2013 VINLEC Community Lighting Competition, held as part of the National Christmas and Nine Mornings celebrations.
The announcement was made by Deputy Chairman of the National Nine Mornings Committee, Lennox Bowman, during the final early morning concert in Kingstown this morning.
Mr. Bowman said the competition was very keen this year, indicating increased support from the public for the Festival. He outlined the winners in the various zones of this year’s competition.
Mr. bowman also announced the winners in the Best Lit Private House and the Best Lit Garden Competitions.
