The Royal St. Vincent and the Grenadines Police Force says a number of its stations and personnel suffered extensive damage as a result of the severe weather which affected this country on Christmas Eve.

Commissioner of Police, Michael Charles, said a number of stations in the immediate disaster areas received extensive damage as a result of the flooding.

Speaking on the Police on the Beat programme aired on NBC Radio on Monday, Commissioner Charles said every effort is being made to return the police force to full capacity.
