The Ministry of Agriculture says aerial spraying operations, which were scheduled to begin tomorrow, have been postponed as a result of infrastructural damage caused by the December 24th floods.

Minister of Agriculture, Saboto Ceasar, said the damage sustained to the bridge at Caratal, Georgetown, will affect the transportation of the chemical to be used in the spraying operation.

Speaking at a news conference this morning, Minister Ceasar said the ministry is exploring other alternatives to ensure that the chemicals could be delivered to the plants in a timely manner.
