Over the weekend, the St. Vincent and the Grenadines Red Cross Society distributed more than one hundred food packages to persons on the windward side of the country….

Over the weekend, the St. Vincent and the Grenadines Red Cross Society distributed more than one hundred food packages to persons on the windward side of the country who were affected by the recent inclement weather.

Communications Officer at the St. Vincent and the Grenadines Red Cross Society, Rendall Allen they also distributed bottled to the affected persons.

He said water was also distributed to the Clinics and Police Stations from Calliaqua to Owia.

Mr. Allen said they also participated in the Hope Concert which was held at the Victoria Park on Sunday.

He said for the rest of the week they will not be doing any many distribution of any items.
