The Public Relations and Complaints Department of the Royal St. Vincent and the Grenadines Police Force is this month celebrating 15 years of existence.

The Department was founded on January 4th, 1999, under the leadership of the then Commissioner of Police William Harry.

Speaking at a celebratory event this afternoon, Police Commissioner, Michael Charles, said the department played a major role in ensuring a greater level of accountability within the police force.

And, former Police Commissioner, William Harry, said the department was instrumental in helping to lift the level of professionalism within the police force.
