President of regional council of Martinique Serge Letchemy conducted a tour to Vermont today…

President of regional council of Martinique Serge Letchemy conducted a tour to Vermont today, one of the areas affected by the Christmas Eve Trough.

Prime Minister Dr. Ralph Gonsalves was also part of the tour party, which also consisted officials from the French Embassy and the visiting group from the Regional Council of Martinique.

At a Media Conference at Cabinet Room today, Prime Minister Gonsalves expressed gratitude to the Government and people of Martinique for their assistance to the national recovery effort.

Meanwhile … Speaking on the issue of Climate Change, Prime Minister Gonsalves said an important presentation on the changing weather pattern was made to the Cabinet Meeting yesterday by an expert from the World Bank.
