Chief Medical Officer, Dr. Simone Keizer-Beache said a significant amount of Vincentians will be negatively impacted as a result to the damage of the CT Scan Machine at the Milton Cato Memorial Hospital.

The Machine was damaged during the rains and flooding on Christmas Eve which also affected the Hospital.

She made this statement during a press briefing which was held to update the nation on the status of the relief and recovery process.

Dr. Keizer-Beache said a team from overseas visited the state early this month to assess the damages on the machine and it was decided that some of its parts hart to be changed.

She said they have also identified a new location at the Hospital where the Machine will be placed.
