Judging in the Idea and Innovation Competition or I-Square Competition, organized by the National Telecommunications Regulatory Commission (NTRC) continues today in Zone B on the leeward side of the Island.

The competition has been organized to develop the creativity of students by challenging them to come up with ideas and mobile applications that can implement new systems or improve existing ones in the Public Service and state agencies.

Universal Service Fund Project Officer at the NTRC, Shontel Murphy says today’s session takes placed at the Barrouallie Learning Resource Center, and features presentations from the Barrouallie Secondary, the St. Martin’s Secondary and the Petit Bordel Secondary School.
Miss Murphy says the final judging session will take place on Friday in Union Island, which is also in Zone B.

Judging on Friday takes place at the Union Island Secondary School from 1:00pm.

Forty-one entries were submitted for the competition, from Secondary and Tertiary Level Institutions.
