Prime Minister Dr. Ralph Gonsalves has outlined the progress made to protect the interests of policyholders of British American Insurance Company BAICO and Colonial Life Insurance Company, CLICO.
Delivering his budget address in Parliament on Monday, the Prime Minister said close to three thousand persons in St. Vincent and the Grenadines are benefiting from the new arrangements being put in place.
The Prime Minister said the third phase of the program commenced in November last year, paving the way for all remaining individual policy holders to apply for payments of 30-thousand dollars each.
